BID organised Dr Bike session in September a great success

In partnership with Bracknell Forest Council and Avanti Cycling, Bracknell BID held a free Dr Bike bicycle maintenance workshop this week – a perfect way for BID area workers to kickstart their cycling habits back to work this autumn!

The Dr Bike session was set up at 329 Bracknell Car Park, Doncastle Road on Tuesday 12th September, between 11am and 2pm for workers across the Southern and Western Business Area.

A bike mechanic was on hand to fix several bikes and conduct safety checks, ready for those autumn rides!

The Dr Bike session was a great success – over 7 bikes were checked and maintained over the 3 hour period despite a downpour of rain.

Love to Ride Cycle September
This cycle initiative was in line with promoting Love to Ride Cycle September, a fun, free, and friendly biking challenge for you and your co-workers. Everyone that rides a bike in September will earn points, which enters them into the prize draws.
