BID Area businesses are reminded that the Government backed Kickstart Scheme is due to finish by December 31st. If you are interested in applying please do so as soon as possible to ensure your application can be processed in time.

More young people aged 16-24 and on Universal Credit will be able to benefit from the Kickstart Scheme, which is being extended to March 2022 and will be open to applications from employers and gateways until 17 December 2021.

Employers of all sizes can apply for funding which covers:
.
- 100% of the National Minimum Wage (or National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months
- Associated employer National Insurance contributions
- Employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions
Kickstart is a wonderful opportunity for your business, big or small. It’s a real chance to think a little differently and could even support your future growth plans.
