SSEN and Instalcom will be carrying out essential works for network cable reinforcement on Western Road and Cain Road. These works will increase the capacity of the power supply to the surrounding areas through installation of underground cable ducts.
Roads affected will be excavated under two and three way temporary traffic signals with manual control by a traffic marshal. Click here to see an enlarged picture of the roads affected.
Work will commence on the 25th April 2022, and will have a projected end date of late June 2022. Working patterns will generally be Monday-to-Friday 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs, with weekend working hours being Saturday 08:00hrs to 14:00hrs.
