IN’n’OUT Autocentres have their foot firmly on the accelerator, having been established since 2010 with 10 centres, they have now nearly tripled their number of sites. Between 2013 and 2017, the company added a further 10 sites to their roster and a new leadership team was bought in to promptly support the speed of their growth, this included their Finance Director, Kevin Miller, who proudly grew up in Bracknell.
As the business continued to thrive, they were actively looking for new sites. Kevin immediately saw the potential in Bracknell and got behind the steering wheel to bring IN’n’OUT Autocentres to his former hometown.
Kevin said: “Having grown up in Bracknell, I knew that specific area extremely well, so when the site came up, I knew it would be a good investment. Bracknell has a huge amount to offer in terms of its great location as well as being part of the fastest growing economic region in the country outside of London. The town continues to evolve and develop, and we very much want to be a part of Bracknell’s success.”
The Bracknell site was given the green light and 2021 and saw the autocentre group grow to 30 sites, including a new centre near Green Park in Reading. The company‘s development plans are firmly set on the Thames Valley and Home Counties area and the company continues to be active within their business community and the Bracknell Business Improvement District (BID).
As repeat attendees at the Bracknell BID Jobs Fair, IN’n’OUT will be at their stand again this year with the event set to take place on 5th September at The Lexicon. Kevin has also enjoyed networking at the BID’s Meet Your Neighbour events and hopes to continue to work closely with the BID and the Western and Southern Business Areas it represents.
Kevin said: “The work the BID does has been excellent with regards to maintaining the area. I don’t live here anymore but regularly visit and often go for a run in the town including the area around Farleymoor Lake. I remember when I lived here before I was almost pushing brambles out of my way as I went. It looks great now and I saw the BID bikes too. It’s those little things that make all the difference to elevate the area and the open space looks so much better.”
‘Car care anywhere’ and the road ahead
With their sure and steadfast commitment to staying ahead of industry trends, IN’n’OUT are set to launch their new mobile operations exclusive to Bracknell and Reading later this month. With the slogan of ‘Car care anywhere’, mobile vans specialising in Electric Vehicle (EV) servicing and maintenance along with tyre replacement and air con recharging is the latest development that promises to bring convenient, on-the-go services to the area. This initiative is further supported by the BID’s EV charging point grant scheme, which aims to help local businesses transition to more sustainable practices. They are also working with supermarkets to launch a new cube-based vehicle MOT servicing and maintenance proposition, enabling shoppers to get more than their weekly shop whilst parked up.
