Bracknell Forest Council’s – Solar Together Scheme


Bracknell Forest Council has just launched a Solar Together scheme in partnership with independent experts iChoosr. This is a joint buying scheme for solar panels and battery storage, which can help you save money on an installation from a trusted installer.

The scheme can be used to install up to 25 panels as standard, but you can express interest in having a larger system installed. If there are already existing panels, the scheme can still be used to purchase a battery storage system.

Over the past six years, the Solar Together programme has delivered over 17,000 installations and over 350,000 tonnes of avoided lifetime carbon emissions.

The Low Carbon Workspaces grant is still available and can fund one-third of the cost of improvements such as solar panels, insulation, LED lighting or upgraded equipment, up to £6,750.
