Bracknell BID has funded and installed welcome signage panels at Farleymoor Lake, with supporting information about wildlife in the area and a map of the lake. The two welcome signs can be found at the main entry points to the lake on Western Road. The BID funded welcome signage ties into the BID’s strategy of improving pocket parks within the BID area, and has been completed in line with the BID’s objectives to improve amenities for workers and visitors to the BID area.
Below are images of the welcome signage information panels at Farleymoor Lake, as well as a pdf displaying the content on the panels, which can also be enlarged here.
The BID funded welcome signage installation ties into our strategy of improving pocket parks within the BID area. Bracknell BID has funded new benches at Farleymoor Lake, replacing the old ones at lakeside, as well as cutbacks to the vegetation on the footpath surrounding the lake, which can be read about here. In addition to this, the BID has funded brickwork cleansing and graffiti removal at the site, which can be read about here. These works have been completed in line with the BID’s objectives to improve amenities for workers and visitors to the BID area.
