Celebrating Our SEEDL Top Learner for August: Louise Rosher

Congratulations to Louise Rosher from SO Integrations Ltd, our SEEDL Top Learner of the Month, in recognition of her commitment to continuous learning and personal development through the SEEDL platform.

Louise is the Office Manager at SO Integrations Ltd and has been with the organisation since March 2024. Throughout her time with the company, she has embraced opportunities to keep her skills current, expand her knowledge and continue developing both professionally and personally.

Embracing Continuous Learning

Louise believes that continuous learning is essential in today’s fast-changing workplace, helping individuals remain adaptable and relevant regardless of their stage in life or career.

“Continuous learning and professional development are important because they keep your skills relevant and help you adapt to fast-changing workplaces. They also assist with driving career advancement. At 53, I’m not looking to advance my career, but I am keen to keep my skills relevant. Age is no barrier to learning and SEEDL is a great platform for professional, as well as personal, development.”

Building Skills Through SEEDL

Between 21 July and 13 August 2026, Louise successfully completed five SEEDL courses:

🔹 The Art of the AI Prompt
🔹 How to Communicate Effectively Through Email
🔹 Understanding Tax, Payroll & Employer Responsibilities
🔹 A Professional Comparison of Gemini, Copilot & ChatGPT
🔹 Understanding Your Belief Systems

She has also enrolled on the following upcoming courses:

🔹 Overcoming Social Anxiety
🔹 Effective & Active Listening
🔹 Excel Hints & Tips Part 1

Louise selected these courses to support both her professional responsibilities and personal development, choosing learning opportunities that can easily fit around her working hours.

Putting Learning into Practice

While Louise finds it difficult to identify a single course that has had the biggest impact, she believes each one has contributed positively to her growth and confidence.

“It’s hard to pin-point exactly how the courses have benefited me; I just know they have. Some have solidified what I already knew, which is great for self-esteem, and others, such as the AI courses, have ensured I’m not left behind in our ever-evolving world.”

The combination of reinforcing existing knowledge and introducing new concepts has helped Louise maintain confidence in her abilities while staying informed about emerging workplace trends and technologies.

Why Louise Recommends SEEDL

For Louise, one of the platform’s greatest strengths is the accessibility and value it offers learners.

“What I like most about the SEEDL platform is that it’s completely free. Also, it’s very easy to register, the courses are broken down into themes, which makes selection easy, the course presenters are all great, and the feeling of satisfaction on completion of a course is immeasurable. The platform is easy to navigate and it’s great to be able to see which courses you have completed and which are upcoming.”

She particularly appreciates the flexibility of the learning experience, making it easy to balance training with work commitments.

“I’d absolutely recommend SEEDL to colleagues and other businesses. It’s free, and I particularly like the length of the courses (20-60 minutes) as they are achievable in a working day without compromising on output. I only work 9:30am to 2:30pm and have been able to select courses to fit in around these times. Also, the platform is really easy to navigate.”

What’s Next?

Louise is keen to continue expanding her skill set and is looking forward to completing Excel Hints & Tips Part 1 before deciding whether to progress to Parts 2 and 3.

These courses will help her determine how further Excel training could support her role and enhance her day-to-day efficiency.

Congratulations, Louise!

Once again, congratulations to Louise Rosher, our SEEDL Top Learner of the Month. Her enthusiasm for learning demonstrates that professional development has no age limit and that continuous learning can help build confidence, maintain relevant skills and support both personal and professional growth.
