Bracknell Jobs Fair Connects Hundreds of Job Seekers with Local Employers

On Thursday 3 September 2026, Bracknell BID once again partnered with The Lexicon to host a free Jobs Fair in Princess Square Shopping Centre. The event brought together employers and support organisations from a wide range of sectors across Bracknell and the surrounding area, providing job seekers with the opportunity to discuss current vacancies, explore career pathways, and gain valuable advice on employment and training opportunities. It also offered businesses and organisations a valuable platform to network and build lasting professional relationships.

Hundreds of job seekers attended the Jobs Fair throughout the day, engaging with exhibitors from sectors including local government, healthcare, education, social care, hospitality, technology, automotive services, recruitment, and supported employment. The event supported one of the BID’s key objectives: helping local businesses attract talent and supporting skills development and employment opportunities within the town.

Feedback from both exhibitors and attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many businesses reporting strong levels of engagement and several arranging follow-up interviews, applications, and further discussions with prospective candidates.

The Skills and Business Hub, Bracknell Forest Council’s Community Learning Team, Connect to Work, and Wokingham Job Support Centre were also on hand throughout the event, offering guidance, careers advice, and support to help attendees identify suitable opportunities and take the next step towards their employment goals.

Bracknell BID extends its thanks to all organisations that hosted a stand, including Breakthrough Supported Employment, Bracknell Forest Council, Education Boutique, The Wayz, Priors Court Foundation, The Real Greek Bracknell, Home Instead, North Star Children’s Homes, Prestige Nursing & Care, Reliance High-Tech, Huntress, Zeefax Limited, East Berkshire Primary Care, and In N Out Auto Centres. We also thank all attendees and The Lexicon for their continued support in making the event such a success.
