Get to know your local PCSO – Morning Business Visits

On Wednesday the 19th January, the Bracknell BID and Thames Valley Police PCSOs visited businesses within the Southern Business Area.

The BID is continuing its partnership with Thames Valley Police to create a dedicated and visible police presence in the area which works closely with businesses, developing important relationships with businesses to support them in preventing crime.

The BID also introduced DISC, a business crime reduction service, to businesses in the area on how they can use this platform.

Recently launched by the BID, DISC is a digital neighbourhood watch platform, which will allow those in the area to send and receive urgent and important alerts relating to crime & anti-social behaviour, view galleries of known prolific offenders, share Instant Messages, news, documents and ID-sought images, share information about upcoming events as well as review crime data and trends.

DISC is fully-funded by the Bracknell BID for all levy-paying businesses to use. For more information on the platform, our previous webinar and how you can sign up to use it, click here.

We will be conducting further morning business visits within the Southern and Western Business Area soon. If you would like to meet and have a chat with your local PCSO, you can contact us directly to organise a visit at enquiries@bracknellbid.co.uk.

You can out more about the Southern and Western Business area PCSOs and how you can contact them directly here.
