The BID was delighted to have it’s first ‘Meet Your Neighbour’ business breakfast event this morning, hosted by Ozone Ice Rink on Western Road. Attendees, made up from businesses throughout the BID area, had the opportunity to network over a complimentary light breakfast and were given a BID update from the BID Manager. One of Ozone’s Senior Managers, Danny Meyers, gave a fascinating and inspiring talk on how the state of the art facility was developed and set up.

Attendees also enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the facility which included an ice skating demonstration by one of Ozone’s figure skaters, a visit to the facility’s bar and cafe, ‘Bar Down,’ which overlooks the rink, and had a go at virtual reality ice hockey.
