Walks for Wellbeing – Session one complete

Bracknell BID hosted the first free spring and summer Walk for Wellbeing on Wednesday 24th April. These are held fortnightly on Wednesdays for BID area workers, in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council and Sustrans.

The first session took place on Wednesday 24th April and was a success. Employees from the BID area got a chance to network, get active and get some fresh air during the lunch period. Mark from Sustrans took those participating up to Bill Hill and Frog Copse, circling back round to the starting point at The Lightbox on Willoughby Road. We would like to thank Sustrans and all of those who came along and got involved.

These walks have been created for adults of all ages and abilities with the aim of promoting physical and mental wellbeing through exercise, and are around 1.5 miles in length, taking around 40 minutes to complete. The walk will be completed at the average pace of the group.

There isn’t a better way to enjoy your lunchtime away from the office taking in some of the natural beauty during the warmer months, than through Walks for Wellbeing!
