Bracknell BID Tidy Day – Tuesday 19th March 2024

Bracknell BID are organising a Tidy Day, taking place on Tuesday 19th March between 12pm – 2pm, to help clean up the Southern and Western Business Area through community litter picking sessions. Meeting point will be at Wickes Car Park, Western Road, Bracknell. This project aligns with the Great British Spring Clean, the biggest annual national clean-up environmental event in the UK.

Thousands of commuters and residents travel every day to their workplace using the roads, footpaths and cycle lanes in the Bracknell BID area. For this reason, we want to keep this area as litter-free as possible and we need your help.

Why should you partake?

By joining our Tidy Days, you’ll be helping to make Bracknell a better place to work by improving the appearance and the local environment. Come for a short amount of time or for the whole afternoon, the litter picking sessions are for anyone who can spare as little as 10 minutes of their time in helping to improve their local community.

What will volunteers be provided?

• All necessary PPE and equipment (including litter pickers, hi-vis, bags, and gloves)

• Refreshments

Volunteers must be 18 years or older to participate and participation is at volunteers’ own risk. Volunteers are asked to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the Tidy Day event.
