Tuesday 20th October, 9:00am to 10.30am On-Line via Microsoft Teams

Securing Bracknell Forest’s Business Future:

The Bracknell Forest Economic and Skills Development Partnership’s 2020 Autumn Event will explore current strategic planning and visioning aimed at securing Bracknell Forest’s future as a leading business economy within the region.

Retaining Bracknell Forest’s Economic Strengths:

With so much change expected from the impact of Covid-19 how can Bracknell Forest retain its position as one of the strongest business economies in the region?  What needs to be done to ensure that businesses will still want to locate in Bracknell Forest and how will the borough’s business areas and town centre be affected?

Working Together to Drive Recovery and Renewal:

There are many questions to be answered and many challenges to be overcome; and whilst there will be positive impacts from the next phase of the Lexicon and Bracknell Forest’s first Business Improvement District (BID), local agencies and partnerships will need to work together to help drive the strategic visioning and planning behind recovery and renewal.

The scene will be set by Cllr. Marc Brunel-Walker, Bracknell Forest Council’s Executive Member for Economic Development & Regeneration.  Andrew Yeadon of Public Perspectives will present the results of two major business surveys carried out in Bracknell Forest this year.  Speakers will include Andrew Hunter, Bracknell Forest Council’s Director of Place, Planning and Regeneration, who will cover current business recovery planning and the emerging Local Plan. James Sunderland MP concludes our speakers with his thoughts on the Borough’s future business future.

The Event will be held on-line using Microsoft Teams.  Book now using the RSVP via Eventbrite here.
