A Bracknell BID business is celebrating success with further business growth and a substantial contract with an international shoe company.
The team at Smart Signs – a family-run signage and graphics company based on Longshot Lane in Bracknell – have been working extremely hard on signage for new shops and refurbishments for their latest global client, whilst managing and delivering exceptional service for their ever-growing national customer base.
Established in 2008, Smart Signs design, produce and fit all types of visuals and graphics, including event banners, vehicle graphics, shop front and building signs, and lots more, and are currently busier than ever as businesses return to normal following the upheaval of the pandemic and Brexit.
With their impressive graphics, it is no surprise that trade is booming, with more people heading to Smart Signs for their signage needs.
James Graves, Managing Director said: “We’re really pleased with how things are going after a difficult few years, and we are in a good place to cope with further business challenges as we take on more valued customers.
“During covid most conventional work stopped, but we managed to make up for it by creating covid graphics. We closed our doors briefly when the pandemic first hit, but we had businesses that desperately needed our help, so we got back to work as soon as we could.
“We had shops, cafes, businesses and restaurants needing signage for their premises, so we came back in and started working long nights to get all the graphics completed. It was pretty full on but we were just so happy to be able to help and to have the work coming in.”
James also talked about being a Bracknell BID business – born and bred in the local area, he has been excited about some of the developments the BID has made.
James added: “I’ve seen a lot of changes and improvements in the area thanks to the BID – the work they’re doing is excellent. We can literally see improvements as we look out our front door.
“The business networking events that the BID hold are really good. I’ve been to a few now and it’s a great way for businesses to interact and get to know each other. I really enjoy them and find them beneficial for us all.”
James is particularly proud that Smart Signs have been able to adapt and use their skills and tools to help others through a difficult period over the last few years to ensure future growth of the company.
