SEND Roadshow – Opportunities for business involvement

Bracknell Forest Council are holding an event to bring representatives from the wide variety of options available to young people with SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities). The event, open to young people aged 14 to 25 and their families, will be on Thursday, 18 January 2024 from 12pm to 6pm at Bracknell and Wokingham College.

If your business can offer a pathway to employment for young people with SEND,  there are opportunities to be involved in the event. Businesses will be able to talk to individuals about the options available and provide resources for attendees to take away. If you require further information on the event, please email paul.cartwright@bracknell-forest.gov.uk

If your business would like further guidance on employing people with a learning disability, you may find this employers guide by the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities useful.
