A grant scheme has recently been made available through the Energy Saving Trust to help towards the purchase of e-cargo bikes for organisations.

The grant covers up to 40% of the total cost, up to the value of £2,500 for a 2 wheeled model and £4,500 for 3-wheel models.

The aim of the funding is to support the adoption of e-cargo bikes by businesses operating in England to provide a practical sustainable transport solution for last mile delivered, emitting zero emissions and thus contributing to improved air quality, reducing congestion and making more liveable towns and cities.
