Age Concern Bracknell Forest is an independent local charity devoted to caring for older people in the Bracknell community. This charity has been a lifeline to those facing loneliness, frailty, or dementia for over 50 years. Their community groups bring people together across generations, creating friendships that break isolation and remind people they are valued.
Age Concern organises social meet-ups, outings and trips, in efforts to help older people feel part of something bigger again. At Age Concern’s Dementia Friendly Day Centre, vulnerable older people find warmth, laughter, and purpose.
“A hot meal shared, a gentle game played, or a kind hand held, these small moments transform lives, provide respite for carers. For someone who feels forgotten, it is everything.” -Andrew Eltham, Chief Executive Officer Age Concern Bracknell Forest
