Dr. Bike Session Supports Sustainable Travel in Bracknell

On Tuesday 28th October 2025, Bracknell BID hosted a Dr. Bike session at the Maxis 2 reception area, offering local workers the opportunity to have their bicycles professionally serviced by onsite mechanics from Avanti Cycling.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees were able to get their bikes checked, tuned, and repaired, helping to keep their journeys to work safe and sustainable. Local Police Officer Ryan Murphy was also on hand to provide free anti-theft bike labelling, supporting cycle security across the BID area.

The event saw a great turnout, with employees from across the Southern and Western Business Areas arriving on foot or by bike to take part, some even bringing along family members’ bicycles to benefit from the service.

Fully funded by Bracknell BID, this initiative was made possible through collaboration with Avanti Cycling and Thames Valley Police, promoting greener travel and supporting the safety of cyclists in the local business community.
