Bracknell Forest Council Budget 2021/22 – Consultation with Business Ratepayers

Bracknell Forest Council is required under s65 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 to seek the views of representatives of local non-domestic ratepayers on its budget proposals before they are formally adopted.

In this regard, the draft budget proposals were published for consultation by the Council’s Executive at its meeting on 15 December 2020.  The consultation runs until 29 January 2021 following which final budget proposals will be presented to the Executive on 9 February 2021.  Should the Executive agree to support the final proposals, they will go on to be debated by the Full Council on 24 February 2021, when a final decision about the 2021/22 budget and council tax level for Bracknell Forest will be made.

Any comments from organisations or the businesses that they represent on Bracknell Forest Council’s budget proposals can be received up until noon on Friday 29 January 2021. A summary of responses received will be made available to Councillors before they formally vote on the final budget proposals.
