The Bracknell BID has funded and installed two welcome signs within the Bracknell BID area. The first welcome sign is located by Fujitsu overlooking the approach from Peacock Lane at the roundabout. The second sign is located by the approach from Mill Lane, overlooking the roundabout by Doncastle Road and Ellesfield Avenue. The Welcome signs satisfy Objective 1: Infrastructure, activity 4: Improve navigation around the business areas for all road users, cyclists and pedestrians through information, signage and other innovative methods. The signs will also raise the profile of the area and will develop a sense of identity for Bracknell’s Western and Southern business areas. The signage will achieve Objective 2 – Business Growth and Investment 1a: Work with partners, landlords and occupiers towards creating a coherent identity for the areas which is visible in the area and reflects the high standards and values of the businesses which operate in the BID area.
