Seasonal Lighting at Farleymoor Lake

Bracknell BID’s seasonal lighting project returned to Farleymoor Lake this winter, building on the success and positive feedback received in the previous year. The scheme saw thirteen trees carefully wrapped with LED string lighting, creating an inviting and visually striking environment throughout the darker months.

Installed for the duration of winter, the lighting not only enhances the appearance of the area but also helps to boost the mood and wellbeing of those working nearby. By brightening a well-used pedestrian route, the project also improves visibility and contributes to a greater sense of safety for employees walking through Farleymoor Lake and along the adjacent footpaths.

This initiative directly supports Bracknell BID’s Infrastructure objectives (Objective 1, 2A) Encourage the development of facilities and amenities in pleasant surroundings where people who work across the areas can eat, meet or relax away from their place of work, the project also helps create a more welcoming and secure environment, promoting safety of employees in the winter months and improving the aesthetic appeal of the BID area.
