The Bracknell BID is working closely with Bracknell Forest Council and partners to make signage to and around the area consistent and coherent. The signage has been updated from industrial area to business area, reflecting the diversity in businesses and accurately representing businesses in the area. The navigation signage achieved Objective 1 from the 2020-2025 business plan – Infrastructure activity 4: Improve navigation around the business areas for all road users, cyclists and pedestrians through information, signage and other innovative methods. The BID has funded updates to road navigation signage around the BID area, updating eight signs from ‘Industrial’ Area to ‘Business’ Area, to contemporise the navigational environment, with further updates planned.
