Landscape Management and Maintenance

Bracknell BID is committed to enhancing the appearance and upkeep of the BID area through ongoing landscaping improvements. Works since the inception of the BID in 2020 include grass verge edging and vegetation cutbacks at key locations such as Kiln Lane and Western Road, Downmill Road, Longshot Lane and surrounding footpaths and cycleway links. Additional sites across the Western and Southern Business Areas have been given attention to more recently including Farleymoor Lake and Wildridings Copse.

By maintaining green spaces and ensuring footpaths, roadsides and verges are well cared for, these improvements create a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment for businesses, employees and visitors alike.

This project also supports Bracknell BID’s wider Carbon Reduction and Biodiversity objectives. These efforts support (Objective 2 – 3a) Work with partners and other stakeholders to protect and manage the green spaces and the urban environment across the BID area in a way which encourages biodiversity.

As well as Objective 2 1C – Work with partners to maintain and improve the general condition and appearance of roads, footpaths and cycle ways throughout the BID area
