Bracknell BID funded wildflower seeding on key roundabouts within the BID area, including locations at Cain Road and Easthampstead Road. This initiative introduced vibrant, seasonal planting designed to enhance the visual appeal of these prominent roadside spaces.
As the wildflowers came into bloom over the summer months, they created a more attractive and welcoming environment for those working in and visiting the area, while also adding natural colour and interest to everyday journeys.
This project supported Bracknell BID’s Growth and Investment objective 1 2A – Encourage the development of facilities and amenities in pleasant surroundings where people who work across the areas can eat, meet or relax away from their place of work. As well as objective 2 (Carbon Reduction and sustainability) 3A – Work with partners and other stakeholders to protect and manage the green spaces and the urban environment across the BID area in a way which encourages biodiversity.
