Dedicated PCSOs

The BID is working  with Thames Valley Police to create a dedicated and visible police presence in the area which works closely with businesses, developing important relationships with businesses to support them in preventing crime. Providing PCSOs to the Bracknell BID area ties into Objective 2.3b to maintain and develop schemes which share and provide information and intelligence between partners and business security teams involved in the prevention of crime and the creation of a a safe environment for all who work and use Bracknell area. Considering businesses reported crime and security (82%), personal safety during the evening (82%), and personal safety at night (80%) as three of the top fifteen most important factors, PCSOs were employed to maintain a safe and secure working environment for all in the Bracknell BID area.

The Bracknell BID has organised bases for PCSOs in the Southern and Western Business areas at Fujitsu, Waitrose and Wickes. The BID would like to thank those businesses for facilitating this.
