Team Leader
LOCATION: Ozone Bracknell
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Team Leader to join the team at the Ozone, Bracknell. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the ice rink, whilst on shift, and supporting the duty Manager and the rink steward group. You should possess the skills to work closely with the team with proven communication skills. You will be responsible for work in accordance with the company policies & procedures as well as adhering to Health & Safety legislation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opening/Closing the building as a Key Holder
- Overseeing and delivering the smooth operation of the facility, whilst on shift.
- Ensuring the building is safe, clean, and welcoming
- Leading a team of rink stewards to ensure tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
- First Aid when required (Training will be given)
- Assisting customers with any issues they may experience while visiting the Ozone
- Driving ice resurface machine (Training will be given)
- Responsible for completing all assigned tasks in a timely manner with rink stewards
- Any other duties as assigned
- Booking customers on to sessions using our online booking system
- Replying to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Qualifications & Experience
- Work experience in a leadership role, or able to demonstrate leadership experience either through previous work experience or similar.
- Previous experience in the industry preferred, but not essential
- Customer service experience
- Team management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Availability to work in shifts including weekends
The successful candidate will be keen to learn about the ice and events industry and will preferably have their own transport to and from work, as the role requires early morning and/or late nights and regular weekend work. Reliability is a must, so excellent timekeeping and attendance record is essential. We’re looking for outgoing people who are confident in dealing with a huge spectrum of customers, while remaining professional and brand aware.
