Bracknell BID has funded a course by SCAS for BID area workers, designed to give people in the workplace the skills and confidence to save a life.

About this Event

Bracknell BID has funded a course for BID area workers, hosted by the South Central Ambulance Charity, which will help provide you with invaluable knowledge on how to deliver potentially life-saving help.

 

This course has been designed to give people in the workplace the skills and confidence to save a life.

 

The training includes both theory and practical elements.

 

The key aspects are:

 

• How to recognize a cardiac arrest using a primary survey

• How to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

• How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)

• Advice and guidance to the #BusinessLifeSaver on how to reflect after delivering life saving support.

 

The session will be hosted at 329 Bracknell, Doncastle Road, KT16 8PE at 9:30am – 11:30am on Thursday 18th August. Free parking and bathroom facilities will be available.

 

Bracknell BID has also funded and installed publicly accessible defibrillators within the area. For more information regarding the locations and defibrillators, click here.

Note: the Basic Life Support Awareness Training Course is only available for BID area workers (i.e employees within the Southern and Western Business Area).
