Bulb Planting at Farleymoor Lake

Bracknell BID has enhanced the natural landscape at Farleymoor Lake through the planting of seasonal bulbs, adding colour and interest to this well-used green space. Carefully selected to provide vibrant displays throughout the spring months, the bulbs help to create an attractive and uplifting environment for those working in and visiting the BID area.

As the bulbs come into bloom, they transform the surrounding area into a more welcoming and enjoyable space, encouraging people to take time outdoors and make the most of the local environment. The planting also contributes to supporting pollinators and local wildlife, adding biodiversity value alongside visual improvements.

This initiative supports Bracknell BID’s wider objectives by improving the condition and appearance of footpaths and surrounding spaces (Objective 2 – 1c), while also helping to raise awareness of sustainability and greener environments (Objective 2 2a). In addition, it contributes to protecting and enhancing green spaces in a way that encourages biodiversity (Objective 23a), creating a more attractive, sustainable and nature-friendly environment for the business community.
