Bracknell BID recently commenced Phase Three of its Micro Meadows project, continuing our commitment to creating greener, more welcoming spaces across the BID area. Building on the success of earlier phases, this latest stage further enhances shared spaces for both people and wildlife.
Designed to transform underused areas into vibrant, nature-friendly environments, the project encourages biodiversity while creating attractive spaces that can be enjoyed every day by those working in and visiting the area. The introduction of natural planting helps support pollinators and contributes to a healthier, more sustainable local ecosystem.
This initiative supports Bracknell BID’s Biodiversity objectives by improving and protecting green spaces, while fostering a stronger sense of community through shared environmental improvements. Specifically Objective 2, 3 A&B – Work with partners and other stakeholders to protect and manage the green spaces and the urban environment across the BID area in a way which encourages biodiversity. Support businesses in developing awareness of and adopting biodiversity strategies which generate meaningful and measurable benefits.
By bringing people together and enhancing the natural environment, the Micro Meadows project helps create a more enjoyable, sustainable and connected BID area.
