Walks for Wellbeing - Bracknell BID

Walks for Wellbeing

Guided lunchtime walks led by qualified walk leaders, FREE for BID area workers

Get moving in the sunshine! In partnership with Bracknell Forest Council and Sustrans, Bracknell BID is hosting free summer and autumn walks for Wellbeing for BID area workers! The promotional flyer can be downloaded here.

Walking is great for the mind and body and one of the easiest ways to become healthier. Workers within the BID area can join and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors with guided walks, led by qualified walk leaders, being offered across Bracknell BID’s pleasant natural green spaces.

These walks have been created for adults of all ages and abilities with the aim of promoting physical and mental wellbeing through exercise, and are around 1.5 miles in length, taking around 30 minutes to complete.

The walking routes will vary each session at different starting locations, taking in the picturesque views of Farleymoor Lake, the peaceful ambience of Arlington Square, as well as a walk on the boardwalk trail through an enchanting ancient woodland within Wildridings Copse.

There isn’t a better way to enjoy your lunchtime away from the office taking in some of the natural beauty than through Walks for Wellbeing!

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Limited parking will be available and we strongly encourage active travel, please consider walking to the start location.

Walks will depart promptly as advertised, so please be at the meeting point at least 5 minutes beforehand.
