Bracknell BID donates £500 to Bracknell Foodbank

The Bracknell BID is delighted to support the Bracknell Foodbank based at Kerith Community Church on Church Road. It is hoped the donation, made up from a voluntary contribution from a local business to the BID, will help local people experiencing hardship in Bracknell particularly in the run up to Christmas.

.

This year there has been a 38% increase in demand at Bracknell Foodbank, with many needing to use the services for the first time due to the pandemic. So far this year the Foodbank have provided over 4500 people with an emergency food parcel. The increased demand has brought about many logistical challenges, and the BID’s donation will be put towards a storage solution to hold increased stock levels.
