New BID funded defibrillator installed at Wickes

A new BID funded defibrillator for emergency use has been installed at the front of Wickes, Western Road in the Western Business Area, next to the main exit doors for the store. The defibrillator is housed a locked cabinet which can be accessed with a code that can be retrieved by calling 999 in an emergency.

The defibrillator is available 24/7, fully automatic and can be used for both adults and children by simply changing settings. This is the fourth defibrillator the BID has funded and installed across the BID area, the others have been installed at Acorn House on Longshot Lane, Greggs on Western Road and Bailey’s Garage in Bilton Industrial Estate.
