Founder and CEO George Randolph previously owned a software company before starting GFR Tech Ltd and since then, the company has grown steadily and expanded into new areas.
In April 2023, George made the bold decision to buy their own premises in Milbanke Court, Bracknell – a considerable undertaking that involved a complete refurbishment and a tight turnaround time of just three and a half weeks. Using external suppliers for carpentry and building works alongside their own team they were able to install their own CCTV, data network and door access controls using the same products they offer their customers. The result – a beautifully converted space for their staff to enjoy and a prestigious meeting area to welcome clients.

George said, “We’re not a corporate but we have a professional, friendly, informal approach which both our team and customers appreciate. Our staff wellbeing matters, and we put a lot of effort into making the new office a relaxed and welcoming environment – creating a comfortable seating area, incorporating lots of plants and greenery and of course ensuring we have a great coffee machine.”
The business isn’t one for standing still and is always looking at ways they can expand their offering and support growth areas. Telephony, Managed Service IT and Meeting Room Systems are examples of these growth areas and remain a key focus for the team at GFR Tech Ltd.
George added, “With the growth of ‘work from home’ and hybrid working, businesses are facing more challenges when it comes to providing these services and there are lots of ways that we can support them and take away some of that stress whilst ensuring high-quality support and complete peace of mind.”
When talking about their membership of the BID, George says, “We’re in favour of the BID initiatives, from clearing up litter and installing Defibs to their CCTV project to reduce crime. The breakfast meetings also add real value and are a great way to get small businesses to communicate with each other and make new connections.”
