Fire Marshal Training Course

During this course, you will be trained in fire safety awareness and the safe use of extinguishers. As a Fire Marshal you may also be expected to carry out other important duties, such as checking fire equipment or safety systems on a regular basis.

The session will be hosted at Capitol Building, Oldbury, Bracknell, RG12 8FZ August 12th, 9am-12pm. Free parking, lunch and bathroom facilities will be available.

This course has been designed to give people in the workplace the skills and confidence to deal with fire safety procedures.

The key aspects of the training are:

• Presentation talk & DVD
• Role of the Fire Marshal
• Planning escape routes
• Area clearance & evacuation
• Identifying Fire Hazards
• Fire behaviour & fire spread
• Types of extinguishers
• Record keeping
• Mock Risk assessment
• Theory Test
• Fire Extinguisher Practical

All attendees will receive a certificate upon completion which is valid for 3 years from completion date.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This offering is only available to active Bracknell BID area employees (i.e employees within the Southern and Western Business Area.)

Please note: by confirming your place on this training, you are committing to attend. Due to the cost of delivering this course, if you do not attend on the day and fail to find a timely replacement you will be held financially liable for the cost of the place and will be invoiced to this effect.
