Dave grew up surrounded by technology with his father’s job at Nixdorf Computers, whose Head Office was in Bracknell, bringing his family to the area. He soon established himself as a technical expert, gaining a strong background in photocopiers and then founding BTS at the height of analogue photocopier sales and servicing.
Dave says: “I remember reading about one of the first printers on the market – a Xerox device nicknamed ‘The Toaster’ because it came with a fire extinguisher due to frequent overheating and literally catching on fire. Thankfully, technology has come a long way, making today’s devices more efficient, reliable and a lot safer.”
