About Us
Bracknell has long been a key hub for industry and commerce, with its strategic location, excellent transport links, and diverse business landscape shaping its evolution into a thriving business destination. From its early development in the post-war era to the present day, Bracknell has attracted leading companies across a range of sectors, including technology, logistics, manufacturing, and professional services.
With over 300 businesses operating within the Western and Southern Business Areas, Bracknell continues to build on its rich industrial heritage, offering a dynamic environment for growth, innovation, and investment. The creation of the Bracknell Business Improvement District (BID) in 2020 marked a new chapter in the town’s development, with a focus on enhancing the business environment and supporting the continued success of local companies.

The BID Board is supported by Partnerships for Better Business Ltd (pfbbUK), one of the largest BID consultancies in the UK, who develop and deliver Business Improvement Districts across the country.
What they say
"We really appreciate all the work the BID has done to make Bracknell a more attractive and a great place to work, such as tidying up around Farleymoor Lake making it a nice area to enjoy for our staff"
Nick Philips, Cadence Design Systems
"The BID's introduction of new CCTV and ANPR and increased liaison with the Police helps keeping our businesses and those who work in the area safe"
Piers Mason-Apps, IN'n'OUT Autocentres
"The BID team are always friendly and approachable, they have been there to support with any issues we have had. We're big fans of the BID run Tidy Days, which brings businesses together and keeps the area clean"
