Bracknell BID is hosting a Basic Life Support Awareness Course delivered by the South Central Ambulance Charity, giving workplace teams the confidence to perform CPR and use an AED. Join us at the Waitrose Conference Centre.
About this Event
Bracknell BID is holding another Basic Life Support Awareness Training Course. The event will be hosted by the South Central Ambulance Charity, which will help provide you with invaluable knowledge on how to deliver potentially life-saving help.
The session will be hosted at The Waitrose Conference Centre in the Northumberland Room. Free parking in lot 3, refreshments and bathroom facilities will be available.
This course has been designed to give people in the workplace the skills and confidence to save a life.
The training includes both theory and practical elements.
The key aspects are:
- How to recognise a cardiac arrest using a primary survey
- How to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Advice and guidance to the #BusinessLifeSaver on how to reflect after delivering life saving support.
All attendees will receive a certificate upon completion.
Note: The Basic Life Support Awareness Training Course is only available for employees from businesses based within the Western and Southern Business Area (BID area). Spaces are limited so sign up to reserve your place, if you can no longer make the session please cancel your ticket or get in touch. If you have any accessibility needs please let us know and we will aim to accommodate these. There will be some practical elements including the recovery position please wear suitable clothing.
